“I Love it Here” is a short film project that a few of us at Welikesmall created as a one day passion film project. We had heard about this train yard in Ely, Nevada that had working steam engines, and an active yard and machine shop. We were delighted to find that access to the entire place was open and welcoming. The visuals and activity around the trains was a shooters dream, with over a hundred years of patina’d machines in various states of restoraton and operation. We spent the day shooting and talking with the guys there who do it all for the love of trains.
